not in the spring....I do know someone who killed mint with HIGH levels of Zinc.
“There are some who, uh, feel like that, you know, the conditions are such that they can attack us there. My answer is: Bring ‘em on. We got the force necessary to deal with the security situation. “ - George W. Bush, July 2, 2003.

It is a selective broadleaf herbicide, which means it will kill other plants. If you read the product label or the MSDS sheet, it will tell you the rate of application and where to apply.

            Let us not give Miss-information.

Non Selective Herbicide will kill a very broad variety of herbaceous plants and many woody plants.

Selective Herbicides will Kill a select variety of plants but not other varieties of plants

Chaser 2 is a 2-4-D product and may translocate to other plants via the root system. For total kills a Mixture of Roundup and 2-4-D works on most plants to control them. Pro Guard is the old Rodeo and is a stronger Roundup that is also used as a brush killer.

            Read the Label always.

I had a customer with mint growing in their lawn. When I did a broadleaf application using chaser II, (Like Ric said is a 2-4D product) the mint was controled.
