  • H2o2

H2O2, can be mixed at 35% H2O2 @ 30 mils / gal/ 30 oz listerine, 2 oz spreader. This may be applied FOLIAR, and will 'fizz" your insects, wash off powerdy mildew, and run off will aerate the upper soil structure. This mixture may also be used to wash the inside of your greenhouse.

    Lorenzo

Systemic products that kill insects are not the real problem. It is the fact that 99% of hydroponic crops are consumed by man. The truth of the matter is 99% of what we buy in the Grocery Store is contaminated with pesticides to some level any way. So I guess the trick is to TIME application of the systemics for a clean harvest.

Where is it stated on the label that you can use such products in a manner you suggest??? Good luck with explaining that one to Mr. EPA.

Personal use is what he is referring to, I reckon. Not on his person but his greenhouse.

Is this part of your mite mitigation efforts Dr.

No....this is what is being used in Europe. Most production houses will grow out of a smear of co-co husk fiber. The H2O2 will fizz away your insect issues, as well as wash off any powder molds.
If I was still a lawn guy....I'd look into adding H2O2 into my spray mix to aerate my lawns.

            Good Doctor

I am not so sure the low infiltration rate of most lawns would be fast enough to get the H2O2 into the soil before it broke down. But I am only guessing and have no experience with H2O2. As an Oxidizer it would have a toxic level as does most fertilizer. I do know H2O2 is a popular additive to Hydroponic solutions.

Yes....H2O2! It's a blessing....in fact I shot my lawn, yea I keep a pretty cool front yard just for old times sake, shot the lawn @ 3 mils of 35% H2O2 to the gallon and fired about 10 gallons to 2000 square feet. The thatch fizzed, and the European Crane Fly larva fizzed also...then they died. After the fog of war lifted, the soil had MILLIONS of tiny aerated holes in it, and the area on the side that tends to get the grey snow mold, fizzed and looks like it's waking up.
OH and BTW- this is the 3rd cut this year on my lawn. Too bad that so many of you will never experience the wonder of living in the PNW.....but it's better that way, as I'm certain I would have capped a few of you now if you lived close.

              Cheers!
