  • Blower spray attachments???

Just curious... No don't ask if I'm cert for pesticide 'cause I isn't. I do plan to be later this year (at least for sprays).

I saw something about a sprayer attachment in my Stihl Blower manual, and was curious as to how something like that worked or if anyone uses one??? Just the thought of a BP blower spewing spray at 160 MPH is hard to imagine.

Also wanted to post something so I don't have to look at the "creepin charlie" thread that I have to see everytime I come on since this place is so slow.

I have not used one personally. I have seen them used on smaller trees & ornamentals, they're not too bad & they really do have their place. I think echo makes one too.

      Mr Jgc8fan

Air blast sprayer have been used on the farm for a long time. The air blast causes the leaves to turn so the mist of pesticide gets on the underside of the leaf. Because of the total coverage offered by air blast, a contact pesticide of lesser harm to the environment may be used to gain control. Here in Canada we love our woods & water and try to protect them. Ours laws ban many pesticides.
