I own a lawn maintanance buss. in Volusia county. I am not certified for for fert or pesticides. I was talking to a cousins husband and found out he does pest control and is certified. He said when he started doing it he worked under his partners license, but he now has been certfied under his own name. He only does pest control at the moment and not lawn fert.

What would I need to do to legaly partner with him to do apps?

Can I Hire him as an employee to do apps, or sub-contract the work to him?

What type of insurance would I need and for how much does the state require? (I have just general liability now)

If he holds the pest app license can he also do fert or does he need to take another test?

I have around 80 lawn accounts at the moment and I'm sure I could get many of them to switch fert companies if I offered fert services. Most of them use "truegreen, middleton, etc..." Mostly the big guys.

Any help would be great. Thanks
