Lawn pesticide applicator mentioned in video should have his licensed revoked (if he has one). Why?

Whenever someone asks me if what I'm spraying is harmful, the answer is Yes, especially if you don't let it dry before going onto it. Some labels have a re-entry of 24 hrs for humans; the same goes for pets.

However, some people are just plain stupid. I have had the flags out and people walking their dogs will ignore the warning signs and walk where I have just sprayed! I'm sure that if something happens to Fido because the owner can't read, I'm still toast.

That vidio was a bunch of crap. Lets let our dog drink the water dripping from the plant I just sprayed, I'm sure he will be ok. Or the fact that those little pain in the a$$ black and white dogs have a history of sezures. These people are morons.

When it clearly states no contact for 24 better not let the creature on the lawn for 24 hours. Everyone needs to pay attention.

Sorry for your loss but should know full well what the warnings are and you better pay attention and adhere to the warning.

Yes, it's obviously one-sided, but this gives you a damn good idea what chem applicators are up against.

That was my first thought when I viewed it.

I always find it interesting that some people who call me out to make an application for lawn weeds ask me if its toxic?!!!

I tell them that "anything that kills is always toxic, it just depends upon the degree of toxicity".

Or people want the lawn weeds sprayed but ask that I use an organic approach to which I reply "there is none" that works in lawns.

I find it absolutely ludicrous that a nursery/greenhouse owner would allow his dogs to wallow in fungicide. He must have missed the part in pesticide licensing on how to read a label. Was this guy even a real nursery/greenhouse operator? How could he not know the regulations governing chemical usage in a commercial enterprise?

This is all a crock. The lady says...within 3 hours the dog was sick. well,...it wasn't from breathing it in, so that tells us that she let the dog out on the grass. Furthermore, she is letting the dog EAT the grass to throw it up? A little common sense goes a long ways. this is why the warnings are issued to the customers, and they are even illustrated with the cute little pictures on those bad, bad signs.
The guy with the greenhouse was ignorant of this stuff. This was a private greenhouse at his home...there was no licensing.

Its crap like this that will kill an industry. People on the internet running there mouths with nothing more then a agenda based on emotion and ignore all facts involved. Are weed killers and lawn insecticids toxic? yes!!! Are the toxic enough to kill a dog? Hell NO!!! atleast no in the amounts put on a lawn. If it were every applicator would be sick or died. A dog in a yard comes in casual contact. It wont kill it.

Just wait though, the wrong person will get ahold of this and before you know it, it will be in everyone email, then congress will have hearings, more needed chemicals will be banned, and all cause some liberal moron with an agenda wanted her ugly face on the internet.

Ahhhhhhh, not exactly. We don't know what the guy applied, but you don't necessarily have you touch a pesticide to become sick.

                    *********

Yeah, that nursery owner has got to be the dumbest moron in the world. "DER, I didn't know letting my dogs bathe in fungicide was bad........."

I guess you shouldn't have dogs that are made out of fungus and let them play in fungucide.

get your certification and that business and there won't be anymore signs unless you choose to put them there and also your pockets will be alot fuller than they are now.

Ya, okay. Get your license, & you'll be the one putting those signs up.
