  • Attn Larry Stone.....

We have two properties that over the last two years have experienced gray snow mold in the spring. I am assuming a fall fungicide app should eliminate this from happening, however, what would be your fungicide of choice? Possibly clearys 3336 F? Cost is not an issue here, results are.

Heritage is labeled for snow mold

Ron Howard: Is that... vodka... and wheat grass?
Homer: It's called a "lawnmower". I invented it. Want one?

I'm stunned you didn't visit Lesco to have them tell you what to buy.

      Look into Bayleton.

        Cost is ALWAYS an issue.

What type and amount of fertilizer is applied to the sites in question in the September to December time frame?
        "Maitreya"

These are new clients, not sure what they used last year as snow mold was a problem in spring. The last two apps in your time range are 25-10-10 2 Fe, & 19-0-19 3 FE. All are lebanon turf products. Keep in mind this is their first year with us, problem was there in the spring. Looking at the Heritage label, it appears a fall preventive app, as I figured, would be the way to go. Have you had good luck with it, Rich? Mainly looking for something that will give a proven result. When I said cost was not an issue, they don't care what it costs, just get results.

Can't say I've had much of a problem with snow mold. I did have some red thread this season but hit it with bayleton and some fert to knock it out.
