Three Of My Customers Who Decided To Do Their Own Lawns This Fall..

customer #1..... i noticed hers was aerated and seeded about 5 weeks ago along with about 10" of growth each week. two weeks ago the woman comes out and ask me what are those ugly dead spots in her front yard and why hasn't much of her seed come up yet? i explained to her that the spots were fert burns and then asked her what fert she put down with the seed? well turns out she put a winterizer down with the new seed and did all this when it was still hot in early september. steve-o re-seeded for her two weeks ago and will start her fert treatments up again next week. she blew her $$$ cause i was too expensive.............


customer #2.....she told me flat out i was too high and she would do it herself this fall. i went up $98 on her yard to aerate , seed, and three ferts. now this yard was one of my better yards this year but her backyard still needs some work. anyway, i talked to her wednesday and asked her if she just wanted my last two ferts since i noticed she hasn't done anything to it yet. her reply was they will get it done in november after the grass slows down.....


customer #3.....haven't talked to this one yet but i'm sure he'll be calling. he obviously doesn't know how to run a spreader correctly and damn sure didn't know what the correct fert was to put down and when to put it down on top of that. his yard has all these pretty circular burn spots where he must have been for his afternoon stroll around his yard dropping that fert down real heavy as he was making his turns and going around things.....:laughing:

i ain't got time to take no pictures nor do i care to. you probably live with sporty and use somebody elses yard to post your yard and you most likely use sporty's pictures and garage for your own personal satisfaction.

YOU have pictures all over the net( if people know where to look), and dont blame Dela as she could post your grass photos if you asked her ya big BS artist !!!

I'm curious about your gripeing over these people trying to save money by doing their yard work themselves?????

1.. Does it bother you more then it bothers them because it seems your the one bothered as i dont read posts anywhere on the net where people cry about their lawns going to shiet !!!!:laughing:

2.. When anything non lawn related needs work at your home including your truck / car , plumbing , electrical or whatever, do you ever save the dough and fix the crap yourself ,or are you contributing to the well being of the economy by hiring any of the above to fix any of the problems that arise????

3.. Lets face facts if you can get by doing somthing yourself you`ll try unless its somthing you know you cant do which is most stuff but from what i understand you even make your own booze instead of just buying it from the professionals !!!!!

I figure in 5 yrs or so that wood alcohol you cook up will build up and toxify your system enough ,and you`ll be blind and the seeing eye dog will be driving your fert spreader for ya you cheap skate !!!!

Broke out the sod cutter, called all the sod farms around, and got as many pallets as I could get my hands on in a short order of time. For the areas that still needed touch up after the new sod was used, out came the Lesco turf paint. Billed the original "applicator" who I think went through his insurance.
