    Hey gang,
I am wondering where I can go, or what I do to get more knowledgeable or certified in ferts. Is there a site to go to, to read up on them or what? Thanks for any help.

Check with your county extension office, the Tennessee extension service has tons of information, including data on requirements for certification if applying pesticides. JD

Call your state offices and talk to the dept of agriculture. You pay a fee and they give you a book to study and you take a test. Its not all that hard to pass. You have to get a 70 or better in illinois.

Here in Canada we need an operators licence and proof of a million dollars of third party liability insurance to spray pesticides commercially, it is this heafy insurance fee that is prob. going to keep a small guy like me from offering that service to my customers. The effect it has had here is to kind of divide the industry into people who only do spray and people who do everything else.
