Planning to buy the spyker 288 super for $475.00. Anyone using them? I have heard good, & will likely buy one soon. Plus, it's made in the USA, Lesco no longer is, so screw them.

I have a Spyker and it works great. Wide even throw and quality construction. Only downfall is you have to push it.
I do as much as I can with my Permagreen but there are a few spots that still have to be pushed.

If anyone is interested in the NY lesco posted above, I can look into it for you.

Ron Howard: Is that... vodka... and wheat grass?
Homer: It's called a "lawnmower". I invented it. Want one?

I use Brinly-Hardy spreaders. An American Co. that has been around since 1863.
While maybe not as good as the Spyker, at 1/4 the cost, it still does what you need it to do.

Thanks for the responses. I will likely buy the spyker, & continue to use the lesco as a backup. New lesco spreaders are made in China, Spyker is us made. Likely I will pay more for it, but I like to support American workers, not the chinks.
