As a professional, I get this question asked of me all the time.Originally posted by theone4949 View PostHow to get rid of Dandylions but not kill the grass? what to use?
Its interesting that when all else fails, the do-it-yourselfers break down an finally call an expert, who must be extremely careful about chosing the right words without explixitly calling them idiots.
The short answer is to get on your hands and knees with a weeding tool or get one of those weed poppers sold at the big box and take them out 1x1.
For the chemical option, call an expert weed control company.
Like they said, if you have to ask, call an expert. Like a doctor or lawyer:
I could tell you, but then I would have to send you an invoice for consultation.
PS:
The home owner can go to Lowes or the Home Despot' an ask an "expert" who sells homeowner chems that are applied by the homeowner.

There are plenty of option to choose from at your local hardware, landscape center, etc...................Follow recommended rate on bottle, treat twice. Low dosage is better than total kill all at first swipe. Tell your customer to look into placing down a pre emergent in the Spring and again in the Fall.
If that fails, he can have you over for a salad...................I've read their good for you.
