  • Getting new Customers

How do you get the new customers, Direct mail, telemarketers, flyers, radio, TV etc?

I had an Idea tell me what you think. You pick a neighborhood and pass out professional looking doorhangers stating that in 10 days you will be giving all houses in the neighborhood Free Lawn Analysis compare it to the current company you are using, we can save you money! Let them know they need not be present or have to do anything for us to do the Free Lawn analysis we just want to let then know we would be doing this in their neighborhood. If your are not interested in receiving this Free Lawn Analysis please call us to let us know .

Do you think this is a good idea? It will weed out the ones not interested, and the ones that forget the call might actually change companies after viewing the Quote. Any Thoughts?
    Thanks

Sounds ok,But i would advertise it as no obligation, takes as little as 5 minutes and for them to call if they want the free offer. Dont make them call you to avoid your arrival. You will probally get chased off a few properies that way.

Sounds good! In order to grow your business you may want to "clover leaf" current accounts. Design an easy to read door hangar that states you do so and so next door. When servicing an account hang them on the house on either side, and the one across the street. (clover leaf) This is very effective because they can see your work, and you are providing an automatic referral. The trick is to do it always, not just once in awhile. Another benefit is developing a concentrated route rather than running all over the place.
