I'm going to incorporate a tree and shrub fertilization program into my lawncare. I was thinking of doing one spring and one fall application. For each application I was thinking of charging around 1.50 to 2.00 an inch in trunk diameter. How does that sound? Too much....too little? I will be using the spikes that you hammer in the ground. I would love to add another spray rig with a dagger but just can't afford another right now. For insect control on trees and shrubs, I will be using a backpack sprayer designated for insecticide only. Obviously I wont be able to large spray any shade trees. Let me know what you think.

I have one property for instance has about 12 trees they are small i planted them about 5 years ago. i charge 130.00 per service 3 xs a year. I use 2 spikes per tree takes me about 20 minutes.I make about $100. I would not push any pesticides unless there is a problem or seious problems have accured before.Your $2 per in. sounds ok but i would apply a minimum purchase. Of course this minimum would differ if its a exsisting customer that you will be there applying fert anyway.
