Matching Low baller

Do any of you guys give discounts for larger properties? I am trying to meet a competitor on a price but don't see how I can. The property is 45000 sq.ft. and he does it for fifty bucks an application. We were going in at more like seventy bucks an application.

Do you think we are to high?

An application of what?

Three bags of 32-5-7 will cover 48k and will cost about $36.

Cost is about .81 per 1k sq ft. That leaves you with $9 for labor, overhenad, equipment cost and PROFIT (which is negative btw).

At that price you would be losing money if you just sprayed water on turf from a tank and via a chemlawn gun.

I agree with what Stone said. But I say forget it, move on. You can't stay in business when you are loosing money. I would say that you need to be in the $100-$150 or so range, depending on your product, program and equipment.
