    I know I need a licnes to apply herisides but can anyone walk me thru the process? I would like to know more about what I would need for the lawn care buss. Right now I dont offer any weed control services but would like to.

    What is the code fir the license I need?

    I don't know how it is in Indiana, but in Iowa you must pass the Core Test. The core test is a basic over-view of all aspects involved with applying pesticides, whether it be to lawns or crops. If you are looking to apply chemicals to a turf, they you must pass a Turf test (3T) also. Each year you must take a certain amount of continuing education courses (depending on your license requirements) in order to keep your license. If you don't want to take the courses, then you can re-test every year.

      If you would go to the pesticide forum, and read the post the Administrator has locked on top, anyone can find all info he needs for his own state. You generally will have to go to two different agencies, the regulatory office and the educational office. Links to both are in that first post. Also much other useful info. You're better off to get info from the agencies themselves.
