  • Need Some Help On A Weed Id In Hooterville.......

sorry, but no pictures. first year i've seen this weed. it popped up a few weeks ago in some of my yards. it is green, thick growing, stems have little soft spikes, 3 to 4" high, the top of it looks like a caveman club like in the movies where there is a ball with prongs sticking out, and it is mainly in wetter areas. i can't seem to find anything like that in my books or on the net. it might be nimblewill, but the photos ain't clear enough for me to see.

that stuff is actually slowing down around here and by the end of this week will be gone. i don't know what this stuff is. i'll probably take a sample tomorrow to my supplier and see what it is. like i said, i think it is nimblewill.
