  • Lesco (JDL) gone nuts?

I preferred to buy my crap from their Wichita store. But it was erased from their website, even though the store is still open. I called today (after searching online for a phone number) to inquire on the availability of winterizer fert. They have none, and 'it sells out essentially as soon as they get it in.' "A truck is due in tomorrow, call back tomorrow afternoon."

Call a KC store. They have it in stock, and plenty of it too. Store is listed on the internet. Guess I gotta switch up where I buy my crap from. Might consider going with a different company next year. I'm really not too fond of Lesco....sheot went sour after JDL bought 'em.

Really? I've gone pretty damn good as of late with them (as far as pricing is concerned). Never venturing to the Wichita location again though. I don't buy liquid pesticides from them either...

However, I'm gotta look into Helena for this next year. :alien::alien::alien:

Let's go with pre-emergents and straight fert like fall fertilizers. I go liquid with everything else.

Yeah, I use Triple 13 for both starter fert AND winterizer. Helps the bottom line to pull double-duty with the fert. :alien::alien::alien:

Your choices of winter fertilizer is ludicrous. The p and k is just a waste and will run off into the watershed.

That's where I have got all my equipment, etc. You are correct though ever since JDL purchased LESCO, #1 their website has not been updated, so you never know what they have in stock.... #2 They stopped production of the sit-down zero turns...time to look @ new equipment....good luck!
