  • Question a pa law for fertilizer/

I got a job last year with a lawn care company. They told me they never laid off and had warehouse jobs in the winter. I put down fret and pesticides etc. Then in nov they laid me off due to what they said was a new law that said lawn tech can't work past a cer. date or they have to be inactive for these months or something. i was wondering if any of you ever heard of this or if my company is just misreading this law. The more i think about it i think they are bsing me i just emailed all my state reps and senators.I can't think of any gov passing a law that would make you lay people off. I don't want to walk into my bosses office and start asking about the law and have him think i'm calling him a liar ok pay and benefits are nice when you have two little kids but knowing in nov i'm getting laid off again sucks...

They probably laid you off since no one does any weed or fert work in PA after November. Work picks up again in March. Are you individually licensed to do the work?

You can either call the pesticide office or find all you need on line. Sounds like BS to me
