Would anyone care to maybe share your pricing on sq. footage for Residential, and commercial. I suppose minimum is 5,000 sq. ft. Is there a price difference for every additional 500 sq. ft. Is there usually a percentage difference for commercial or how does it work?

Here are some price guidelines ... each entry on this list was gotten from a different contractor ... that's why you see some variations in prices ... but you can take some (averages) and you'll be in the ballpark ...
Chemical Applications:
Fertilize 10,000 square feet residential lawn for $62.00
Fertilize 10,000 square feet for $60.00 per application, residential
Fertilize for .06 a square foot
Apply insecticide or fungicide at $120.00 for 10,000 square feet
Price per 1,000 square feet for fertilizer $4.75
Grub controls priced at $7.15 for 1,000 square feet
Fertilize 35,000 square feet for $105.00
Price per acre for pre-emergent & fertilizer $97.00
Price per acre for fertilizer $90.00
