  • momentum vs. trimec

How does momentum compare to trimec or any other broad leaf killers as far as both price and effectiveness goes?

ive used the momentum with good success, its alot like the scotts products that our consumer level customers were used to using on their lawns when they fertilized their own properties.

I've never used momentum but I DO know it is more expensive than trimec. I use Lesco three way amine which is basically the same as trimec. Actually I think its percentages are a little highr than trimec. It's like $20 a gallon and works pretty well. It takes about 2 weeks to completely knock out dandelions/plantain/thistle...etc.. The harder to control weeds...creeping charlie/wild violets...etc need a couple of shots about 2 weeks apart and that usually does it for them. I have read good things about momentum but I usually consider price highly before choosing cuz weed killer is an easy way to keep a customer happy inexpensively. At $20 a gallon, its like 17 cents per thousand square feet to treat.
