  • zOYSIA IN BREMUDA

Didn't you post this already under another thread or what that another forum? There is no "chemical" way, that I know of, to kill zoysia from Bermuda, other than round-up. The other way around, then no problem. Only thing I can suggest is Round-Up (but not this time of year). Where are you located? In some warmer places, Zoysia has a hint of green near the ground and around the edges of curbs, while Bermuda is dormant, this would be the "safe" time to eradicate the Zoysia. Hope this helps. My lawns are Bermuda and Zoysia(most of them), BTW.

My question is , why would you want to get rid of zoysia grass?
Maybe your customer wants to let the zoysia grow and take over the Bermuda.

Personally, I absolutely LOVE zoysia grass. It is like a carpet.
A real ***** to mow, but nevertheless a beautiful carpet of lawn.
It is also probly the hardiest of all grasses. Very hard to kill.

I have people who have half zoysia and half other grasses. They all ask me how to make it all zoysia. I just tell them, let it go and it will take over everything else in a matter of a few years.

This is just my 2 cents, not that you asked.
