It's raining right now and I have to work in it this evening. I was planning on putting down a granular fert w/ broadleaf weed control. Can I put the application down in the rain?

Hello:
On any kind of Chemical Applications always follow the Instructions on the Label (Read the Label), that's one of the Questions on the Certification Test you take to be able to Apply Chemicals!
I have never used Granular Fertilizer that had broad leaf weed control mixed in with it. So I'm lost there, but I do know that back when I applied Granular Fertilizer, that it would burn the Blades of Grass if it was wet!

I have used the time relased fertlizer with the weed control. I just follow the instructions on the fert. and have had real good results. The instructions on what I used said to apply to a wet lawn or one that still has the morning dew on it. By following the applications instructions I haven't had it burn a lawn and have had real good results.Wayne

Do what the label says. Just like grassmaster, I have never used the granular broadleaf weed control. I use liquid broadleaf & fertilizer mix for optimal results. I would assume that the product would be fine if applied after a rain. Just make sure your client waters it within 48 hours after you apply the product.“veni, vidi, vici.â€
