Fertilizer Application in MD

DOes anyone out there know if you need a licence or certification to apply dry fertilizer in Maryland. I know you need certs & license for pesticides and herbicides....but what about dry fert?

Can't say for sure. Look up the website or phone number for their local county offices and start there. Or, contact the agriculture department with the state. It should all be on-line. They will be able to tell you more than anyone on this site.

Whether or not you need a license, you do definitely need to know what you are doing with the products and on customers lawns. So, make sure you check on that part too if you already have not.

I would think that the pesticide license would cover it but you never know.
