I was wondering if any one could point me in the right direction with this bid. I am asked to give a per liner foot cost to treat sidewalks. I would have to spray a herbicide on the sidewalk cracks. I understand that it will all depens on the sidewalk and amount to be sprayed but what would you charge to spray a 4'w x 30'l side walk that has lets say 10% weed coverage in the relief cracks. these cracks are placed about every 4' apart.

Here are some numbers that are within reason that you can relate to ...
using a Solo Tank bak pak sprayer ...
Curblines ... walk curblines spray growth in cracks ... 10 min per 1,000 lineal feet. This will consume about 2 gallons of spray per 1,000 lineal feet sprayed all depends on density of weeds in curbline.
Pavement Cracks ... like in parking lots where you have to walk off the whole lot ... and spot spray cracks ... 2 min per 500 square feet of pavement walked off and sprayed.

P.S. It's easy to consume too much liquid material like Roundup ... as soon as you "see" the vegetation "move" from a spray blast, that's it, stop and don't drench anymore ... because you "got it".
