Never used em but when you consider new products always look at the ingredients. How is the N-P-K formulated...WHat percent slow release...What is the particle size of the granules....Look at the blend of the grass seed and hardiness scale....and of course your cost. If all looks well, get a bag and try it out.

      fertilzer

in the past my fert make has been 10-18-10 but these offer 20-4-8. Now i know the first number is N, but the other numbers would be lower then what usually use. Less sounds cheaper to me

You don't need high phos or potash. The more nitro in the product, the less you need to apply to achieve the same results.

Please. Scott's 29-2-3 Turf Builder S and Miracle Grow 32-2-2 are the perfect blends for long lush grass. Who cares about roots? The customer never see them anyhow.

Penna State, Ohio State U of Mich and Purdue just doesn't know what they are talking about.

Why spend the money for the name brand ink. 46-0-0 is only $ 8.00 a bag.

So then the thousands of tons of 5-10-31 that Lesco sells per year is a worthless product in your "humble" opinion?

Anyone that would make a suggestion of a fertilizer ratio without knowing the local soil conditions, turf type, application timing, usage of the turfgrass in question and climate is just shooting from the hip without regard to any of the above factors.
