  • Invading army.....

...of ants, that is. Seems to be a lot of large ant hills this year compared to previous years. They can sure wreck what would otherwise be a nice cut. Any of y'all seeing an increase in your area? Have any of you heard of putting grits on them to kill them?

    Three things:

    1. Licensed certified applicators MUST apply a pesticide that is registered by the EPA and follow the label exactly to be in compliance. For ant control you might want to apply (if you have the training, licensing, and pollution insurance) a product with Bifenthrin as the A.I.

    2. Applying insecticides without the understanding how it effects the rest of environment will be more harmful that just doing nothing.

    3. Children should not play with matches.

I may be wrong but isn't that what all the country clubs like to use for molecrickets as well as ant and other pests? TopChoice?

Edger if you place the word Bifenthrin in a search engine you will have your answer.
