Ric,
Thanks for getting back to me on the weed issue in the flower bed of my customer. I took a look at the website and wasn't able to locate it. I will take a picture and try to post on the forum to get some thoughts. I think the customer has a problem with the soil from prior years. This stuff must have been in soil when she built the beds!!
Anyway, I have been noticing in my yard and one of my customer's yard small spots of orchard grass startign to pop up through the kentucky blue. At first i thought it was crab grass do to the light color of it, but upon further inspection, it is growing straight up and not spreading out like the characteristics of grab grass. Any who, I think I beleive seeing something about orchard grass growing in high acidic areas. If so, I am assuming a treatment of lime may cure the problem. Other than that, is there a selective herbcide that you may recommend for the orchard grass or would a spot treatment of horsepower or drive elimiate my problem.
Thank you in advance.
