  • Spot Treating Weeds

I Just Bought A 3 Gallon Pump Sprayer And Some Ortho Weed B Gon Ive Been Fertilizing Using Granular Fertilizer And Its Just Not Controlling Any Weeds So I Will Try The Spot Treatment Just Wondering If Any One Does This And Is It Effective?

Also Do You Have To Watch How Much You Apply To A Certain Area So You Wont Burn The Lawn? Its Suspossed To Be Lawn Safe.

Are you applying on your own Lawn, and do you have a License? What kinda of grass do you have? You need to be more informed before you apply any chemical. If it is your own lawn, and you dont have a License go to Home Depot with a sample of your weed and they will help you. Dont just start spraying especially if you dont know what your doing. With any chemical you always have to watch how much and were you apply, esp. if the potential for overspray and drift are concerns. Just becareful you can really screw up if you dont know how to do it. In my area no license meens $15,000 in fines!!!!!!If you get caught!!!!Can you afford that? I doubt it!!!!Ltr

weed be gone is really watered down stuff that its amazing it will work at all!! and usually it won't. If you're not licensed to use the professional stuff, study for the test and pass it. Then with license in hand, go buy professional herbicide and have great results. Avoid Weed-be-gone.

First identify the weeds and then get back to us.
