What do most of you guys leave at the door after a fert app, if anything? Do you just leave the bill? Or do you have a checklist flyer for tasks completed and tips for the homeowner? I'm just curious to see what everyone does and if it's no trouble could I see some examples so I can create a better door slip.

If you have a Lesco near you, check them out. They have preprinted, full color pre-visit & post-visit door hangers, brochures, etc for every lawn service you could offer. All of the technical info is there along with full color illustrations and they preprint them with your company name on them. I'm not sure how much they cost as I just looked through their brochure/catalog while at the local store. They definitely looked like they would give you a really professional image. I will be looking into them for next year if they are reasonably priced.

In Illinois you have 30 days to get a receipt to the customer. I flag the lawn and mail a bill later that week. If they have questions in between, they can call. I ususally get no calls with questions. My customers know the high quality I offer and are not worried.
