  • pressure washing accucrete? (sp?)

A new one of our customers wants an estimate on pressure washing her home, but she says you have to wash it with a special chemical. She says is an accucrete home, or at least thats what it sounds like shes saying. Its like stucco but different? It looks sprayed on rather than done like stucco. I looked up accucrete, and cant find anything on google, so I know that cant be it. Anyone know what the exterior of the home is actually called and the best chemicals to pressure wash it with?

i've seen some homes around here where the outside looked like a driveway or sidewalk with the stones and pebbles in the mix. just guessing though.

Ive seen that too, but that isnt it. This only on REALLY big expensive homes like $1Mill and above. It is a lot like stucco, but smoother. Thats why I say its sprayed. I know its called ____crete. But I cant find anyhting under accucrete, which is what the lady called it.

I believe what you are looking for is acrocrete. Follow this page and go to the link on Maintenance Repair and Cleaning guidelines. You should find what you need there (pdf and can't be linked, I don't think).

it's just a synthetic type of stucco, just be careful of cracks in it. If you get water behind it, it can get expensive to repair. Do a once over on the house and look for cracks, damaged areas, separations, etc... were water can get in.

You'll need a couple gallons of pool chlorine, some citra cleaner and dawn soap. I like the smell of the apple blossom. If you excel in pw'ing, this formula will change to suit you.

get a 5gal bucket, mix 1gal of some citra to 1gal chlorine, couple squirts of dish soap and then fill the rest with water. Then break out the handy dandy M5 x-jet and go to town. If you don't have one and you'll be using the black soap tip that comes with your p/w, mix 2gals chlorine to 2gals of citra, squirt some dawn and then get wet.

if you need help with pricing, just pm me with all the details; linear feet, how many stories, etc...

Like Scott said. Strong house wash mix applied via the xjet and wash with low pressure.

Dryvit? That's what it sounds like to me. Low pressure, strong chem mix, and watch the mold, algae and dirt melt away.
