  • Karcher 3300 G power washer Parts

I was given a Karcher 3300 G that has a bad pump. Does anybody know if there is a rebuild kit for it? Is it worth it to put a new pump on it? Its a small pressure washer... 4 hp, 1650 psi I would like to use it around the house, not for the business. If I add power washing to my services I plan on getting a bigger/better machine.

    Rebuild?

It would not be cost effective to buy a new pump for such a small inexpensive unit Bill. Wallmart ,Home Depot, and many other retail stores sell brand new pressure washers of 2000 psi at 2-2.5 gpm for $300 nowadays. A brand new pump would cost that much. You could probably get a rebuild kit if you are interested in just restoreing it for use around the house. I would just do a search of Kurcher on one of the search engines and youll find a rebuild kit. Jackssmallengines.com probably can get a kit . Just go to there site and call there 800 number and inquire. If the unit has the adjustable spray nozzle that you twist it may just be plugged. I have seen this problem a lot on the cheaper units that have that twist wand leading people to think the pump is shot.Make sure its clean. If clogged the pump will go into bypass mode and the engine usually will surge up and down as a clue. If it has the adjustable wand sometimes someone will leave the top nozzle section in the pulled back position which is for applieing detergent and water will just plop out with no real pressure. Just some things worth checking that i`ve observed that led people to think the pump was bad when it was fine.GOOD LUCK,TRANS.

I saw some of the pricing for a new pump... might as well go buy a new machine. I going to look for the rebuild kit... and get this thing running.
