Perhaps if Mr. Skaper was not attempting to plow larger res. drives w/2WD Cabovers instead of 4X4 truck mounted front & pull plows, he would not be extolling the virtues of a Weekend Warrior’s toy.

It's a real shame that someone that pretends to be smart can't seem to comprehend the language. In my VERY first post I said that we use to have quads for plowing. I also said that the snow blower would be faster on smaller residential.
We only do about 4 residential drives, and they are for the elderly. Other than that, it's all commercial.a.k.a.---> Erich

Mr. Skaper is obviously still upset at being overlooked for Member of the Year Award again.
Please consider a truck mounted plow & pull plow, if necessary, will be not only 10 times faster than a Quad on a "long driveway" but also able to handle much larger snow totals. Perhaps if one is maintaing 4 large drives it may be sufficient but Jack D. advises strongly that they are not serious tools for large scale routes.

Going next month to upper Wisconsin, you can rent a new sled for $450 for the week. It will be more fun than you are allowed to have! You are invited.Jeeps are like women.....much more fun with their TOPS OFF!

ATV's work well, but on a commercial place that I keep for maintence in the spring summer and fall the company that plows the huge lot a Fidelity Investments site uses Kubota RTV's with sanders and the bobcat toolcats that are 4wd as well as all wheel steering, they have blades on them as well as sanders?

Just to let you know, you posted on a thread that is over 2years old. However I am glad you did, I was wanting to know the same question about plowing with a 4-wheeler. So thanks, you saved me a search!Just because I don't care doesn't mean I don't understand.
