  • Proposed Florida Snow and Ice Management Forum

Jack D. suggests setting up a separate forum for Florida’s Snow Removal contractors as many issues are specific to the region. Issues such as how the lack of any snow affects business, how to sell seasonal contracts when most customers insist on paying per push and who to call when the Zamboni breaks down.

There are real problems facing Snow Removal contractors in Florida and only through local networking can they be resolved.

Jack D. nominates member Ric as Head Administrator of the new forum.

    Thank you.

Mr Ric thinks that a Florida Snow forum is an excellent Idea and Mr Ric would be glad to head that forum up.

Jack D is correct Florida does have special issues when Northern Blow hard comes wissing out of Canada each winter to cool Florida's economy causing damage to cattle and our young children. Floridians must lock up there Cattle and young children to keep them safe from these problems. Mr Ric uses a 8,000 lb skid steer with a long tree boom and 6,000 lb of up pressure to insert the boom so the sun can shine again on the dirt road. Mr Ric has found that skid steers can deal with these problems very well and these blower operators are a non issue.
