any one have any idea how to price snow plowing. I have been doing landscaping for several years and this year I want to offer plowing. as an example I have a couple of customers with very long driveways between 300 to 400 feet. Also do i set a rate for a certain amount of snow say 6 or 8 inches and after that charge for a second time. Light dry snow is much easer to plow then heavy wet snow. comments are appreacheted.

If it's residential 300 to 400 foot driveways? probably looking at around $50 to $75 per push. Driveways of around 100 feet roughly get about $35 to $45 tops. Although there are plenty of guys running around doing driveways for $20. Commercial is another story entirely ... forget number of inches ... figure on average you plowing 50,000 sq. feet of commercial per hour ... X from $100 to $150 per hour range and you'll be in the ballpark.
For example ... my driveway ... one guy told me $45 another said $30 ... driveway is under 150 foot.
