Anyone ever replaced the engine on a Honda HRC216 with the GXV160AA12 Honda engine from Northern tool? Does this have the connection for the hydrostat transmission?

Some machines have totally different cranks that are threaded , or tapered and you have to get the correct one.....
Regardless you have to have the same crank design , dimensions / and size or the engine will be useless for your particular application so you need to tip the mower over and see what crank you have and carefully measure it.......
Have you checked :
Click under honda of coarse and see how many different cranks they have for that size / HP vertical shaft engine.....

I bought a Briggs from them at one heck of a deal.
They buy Sears closeouts along with others. Call and ask them the guy I talked with was SPOT on and told me that if it does not fit, I could have it free that he was that sure.
