      Headin out

Guys I'm outta here, heading down to the Macon County Line riding shotgun.

To compliment my Macon County themed road trip to pick up new machinery, might I recommend for your movie watching pleasure.

Return to Macon County (1975) starred Don Johnson, Nick Nolte, and Robin Mattson.

The plot in RTMC has two Florida wannabe race heroes, Bo and Harley, on their way to the California Grand National drag's in a hopped-up 1957 Chevy. You'll love the flamed bright-yellow Chevy that has painted wheels, baby-Moon hubcaps, and a gorgeous white tuck and roll interior. The '57 also have a switch on the dash that gives it an immediate and fantastic performance increase. How exactly it does this is never fully explained, but let's not nitpick. Anyway, everything is going just peachy for our two heroes' until while cruising a local drive-in hangout in Georgia, they get involved in an impromptu street race. The Chevy blows the doors off of the local hot-shoe, which naturally gets everybody a little upset. They also get involved with a hometown gun-tote'n waitress chick-a-dee, which really gets the local good ol' boys hopping-mad! Things get out of hand, and the local sheriff gets involved. Ouch! Before the whole situation is resolved, we've got a heap of trouble in Macon County. Can Bo and Harley make it to the safety of the state-line in their rod, or will the cop-ers catch them in a Rocket-88 Olds prowl car ? You'll have to watch and see what happens, but it's not good, I'll warn you right now! The movie is actually better than it sounds. If nothing else, you'll love the great rock'n'roll soundtrack. As an aside, strangely, Return to Macon County had absolutely nothing to do with the pre-sequel 1974 movie Macon County Line.

This machine is big and bad. I have it on a dual quad tandem flat deck 21' trailer. I'll tell ya this machinery is big... biggest mini excavator Kubota makes. Model KX161-3
