Photo Challenge #3 ---Voting Thread (pictures for Color)

Everyone can/should vote, even if you didn't submit a photo!

Okay, the 'Color' Photo Challenge is now at it's last stage. We recieved 17 photos to be voted on! Some very nice ones too! You will be voting on the top 5.


Remember, we aren't necessarily voting for the cleanest, sharpest shots! Just an interesting one that pertains to the 'color' in our industry. Also, don't give any hints to which photo is yours. Heck, don't even tell anyone that you sent one in!

VOTING RULES:


**PLEASE NOTE** to be eligible to vote, participants must have been a registered forum member before this photo challenge. (you should register now so you can participate in the next one!)


- One vote per person.
- You can not vote for your own entry.
- You must vote for the 1st through 5th places.
- Votes that do not follow the rules will be disqualified.
- Voting goes until Monday 12:00 midnight.



I would recommend opening each photo to the full screen size, not just viewing the small thumbnail. They are quite nice. Then go back through and pick your 5 favorites.

Great photos...

This is tough... They are all really good. Grrrrr... I hate making choices like this. LOL And some of you guys were complaining about not having any color... Sounds like a lot of "sandbagging" was going on. Can't I just pick 'em all???

First Place, 5 points = Radience... (Somebody has a really good camera there.)

Second Place, 4 points = Bee Blue... (The color is great, and impressive detail.)

Third Place, 3 points = White Light... (Had to put this one... It's cool.)

Fourth Place, 2 points = Break on Through... (Very cool.)

Fifth Place, 1 point = Not so Dead End... (After the contest is over I wanna know who it is that's maintaining this place.)

Yes sir, this is tough. I was anxious to vote, but now feel like I should sleep on it. Here goes anyway.

First Place, 5 points = Radiance/favorite because; vivid contrast-shot I was waiting for but didn't get.

Second Place, 4 points = To Bee Blue/favorite because;one of the first plants to pop in my own yard-loved the blue pollen on the legs and the leaf thru leaf

Third Place, 3 points = Complimentary Color/favorite because;how it is focused-depth of field

Fourth Place, 2 points =Spring on the Farm/favorite because;fond of farms-color of trees, sky, barns

Fifth Place, 1 point =Orchid in Bloom/favorite because;big fan of orchids

There's something good to say about all the photos. I'm as new at voting for photos as I am at taking them. I feel I've let the others down, but I picked the ones that spoke to me the most after studying them I guess.
