I just bought my house 2 years ago , My grass gets cut every 3-4 weeks and I do`nt have a single plant around my foundation. I live a 1/4 mile off the road so no one can see it . I`ve started removing all the pines and some are still laying on the ground. my place looks like crap !!!! but by the end of the year it will look awsome! I`ll take some before and after pictures.

My lawn used to be a turd. Last to be cut, if at all. I then put it on the route with the others. It got better. Now I am back to doing it myself and I acutally enjoy it.

A beer before starting, a beer after the front is done, a beer after it is all mowed and a last beer when I am done trimming and blowing.

Landscaping is coming this fall as well!

My lawn is always the last. But it can't be seen from the road. Its in the country where I like it. You have to come up a steep gravel hill that will make you want to lock in the 4 wheel drive. Just when you think your hearing banjo music you pass my hay field thats usaully got a few deer and turkeys struttin around. (My idea of the prefect yard) Make the turn at the barn and if the mongrels don't eat you up you'll see a pretty basic yard. Nothing fancy, easy to mow.

Mine Looks Great!! Golf Fairway thats what SELLS! People come by and rub my grass to see if its real.. Sometimes I see them take there shoes off and walk across the parkway (grass strip by the street). However flowerbeds are WEAK but people are so impressed with the 3/4 in cut. They never look at the house. They just see a big BOX truck and Great looking cut... I cut mine twice a week...Its last on the route but my route is pretty much my neighborhood. So works out pretty good...

Gardens need some weeding, but you get the idea.

I hate cutting my own yard. I don't get paid to cut it. I guess it looks ok,, best on the block when it's trimmed and mowed.

My yard is the worst. In fact, I'd refuse to mow it for anyone else. Luckily, you can't see it from the road.

My big problem is I've got no topsoil, and until I do, there's not much I can do to improve the lawn.
