actually, Ive PERSONALLY read you jumping all over about 6 or 7 different people's cases. Most recently, FloridaFlowerFreak when YOU thought she lived in lake CITY rather than COUNTY. It was YOUR mistake. You proceeded to tell her she knew nothing about citrus and was a rip off artist that was better at selling crap than choosing plants for a landscape. You then admitted your mistake and wouldnt even apologize for freaking out. Maybe youre just an old asshole that thinks you know EVERYTHING about landscaping and can't believe when people ask you what YOU consider stupid questions....

By the way, I dont think "the world owes me a living!" Where the *$^% did you pull that idea from? I work hard for every penny I earn and have started from absolutley NOTHING. No, I didnt go to some fancy school for some fancy degree. Im just plain busting my @$$ to feed my wife and trying to give my family a better life. If asking you a simple question means that I think the world owes me a living, that would about cover EVERYONE on this forum! EVERYONE asks a question from time to time and EVERYONE needs some help from time to time. I guess you wouldnt know that though. Im sure youve NEVER asked a question, NEVER needed any help, and ALWAYS done everything perfect....

All you are is an old ass hole that sits at home thinking you know EVERYTHING about landscaping and that youre out to set the young punks straight. Go get a freaking life and quit jumping on people's cases in this forum because you've had a bad day!

I love the pissing match, this is what brings higher ratings to this site. However, on a more low key note Rusty, just because you get a pesticide license doesn't mean that you now are going to use restricted chems. Your pesticide license is like the 21 year olds who can now legally drink alcohol if they want.

A restricted use pesticide is only as good as the job it will do for you, but if there is something "less toxic", like glysophate, that will do the job, then use that. All restricted use does for you is to expand your tool chest with options.

As a WA state licensed applicator, I use more "to the trade" formulas that are not restricted; but I always have the option to use "restricted" if warranted.

Me thinks Rusty needs to invest in a new product out on the market...it's called a Thumb-Guard, you put it on before sitting on your thumb.

            Old fart, :p

You may have forgotten more than I currently know, but you have no way of knowing how much i WILL know in the future. Soon, you will be in a retirement home with nothing better to do than b*tch at the nurses, while I will still be learning and making a good living. That alone, old man, is enough for me to get the last laugh. hahaha. Whether I have that pebble in my rear is pointless, as you will have a doctor named "Bubba" s fingers feeling around for a prostate exam any day now, if not already.

Now, I will conclude my addition to this thread with one final point, and then I will move on. We've had enough run-ins in the past, and Im sure we will have a few more in the future. This one, though, is not fun anymore. Usually, when Im posting to you, although it may not seem like it, Im laughing the whole time. None of this bickering back and forth matters at all. It's just fun and games to me. This one, though, got too serious at one point. I hate when old people like you start downing my generation as a bunch of young kids that think we deserve everything handed to us and dont want to work for anything. You do not know a damned thing about me, my family, or my attitude on life. You have know way of knowing if I was handed my business by my father, or if I opened it and worked it from the ground up. I, in turn, do not know much about you, and dont claim to know either. The only thing I know is that you post VERY helpful info when you want to, and then just seem to get a hair up your rear and start going off on people. Other people may take that as your attitude, and leave it at that. But, I wont. I was raised to respect my elders (you! hahaha) but also to not take crap for any reason. I will tell you again... I will respect you in every post towards you that I can. But when you go off on me, respect goes out the window. I dont care who you are. I dont have to take some middle-aged crisis jerk's crap just because he doesn't like a question I've asked. So, Im sure you'll post some crap about being old, wise, and having every right to be a jack-ass. Just dont get angry when I be a jack ass right back. Until next thread.....

PS- That pebble wasn't all that bad after using Dr. Bizzarro's thumb protector. It's not nearly as bad as having to argue with your old @$$.....

Thanks for the post Stephen. Im sure that I will know more about the pesticides and licences after my class. Right now, Idont have a book or anythign to look on to prepare, so am basically praying that the class teaches me enough to do the job right and pass the test. If not, Im sure that after the class I'll at least know enough to know what to look for. Until this thread, I didnt even know what glyphosphate or any of this stuff was because Ive never even read about it. I've tried, but I tend to get more aggravated and confused b/c the books that I've found are ones that are teaching people who already know the basic pesticides and herbicides. Those books tend to go more in depth on the knowledge, but I havent had luck finding a beginners book. We'll see how the class is, and then see where I need to go from there. Thanks!
