haha, knowlton, that's cool as hell.

A+, you're not going to be able to put a lot in the Sport Trac, and the capacity weight probably isn't even that high limiting what you can haul and also what you can pull trailer wise.

The sport trac is built on a ranger/explorer frame. Find yourself a 4-door F150 Lariat. You get the added towing/hualing ability, four doors, and the lariats are pimped out for a truck.

I would go withs something like a toyota tundra, if I were in your shoes...you'd be getting decent gas mileage, the vehicle would hold its value better than other brands, and the vehicle would break be far more reliable than it's american competitors..Or maybe Tacoma if you want something smaller.

The Tundra and Titan were designed by Americans, built by Americans, using American made parts. Do a search and you'll find out that they are actually more American that Dodge and Chevy.

Not to mention that the Titan is not only all of the above, but it is only sold in the USA to Americans.

The Titan doesn't get any more American. That's a fact.

Hopefully that will be the end of my rant.

Good luck on choosing a vehicle, but in all honesty, teenagers usually pick the worst vehicle to actually start with! No offense to you, I did it also!

nice trucks. Somebody messed up the paint on the first one w/ a rotary buffer. Probably didn't do a final polish to remove the hazing from the initial cut.. You can see it the side photos. Fixable though I think by someone with experience.

I like that second one, but black, eck. I have two black vehicles, never again! A pain to keep clean, and you want an LCO truck to look clean for business.

A+ I just bought a chevy silverado and I like it a lot. Mine is without all the bling but I got a good deal on it. 2003 with 21,000mi for 11,800. Rides like a champ and does not have a problem pulling a big trailer.

All I can say is make sure your parents are prepared to pay for the maint. and repairs if you buy a grand cherokee especially a '99 or newer and if your only going to spend 20k you might be able to get a 2000 limited, also if it is the v-8 that means that it will be a quadra trak, and might I say that the grand cherokees suck from
1998 and newer, and yes 1998 is the older body style. if you buy a 99 be prepared to to have both differentials overhauled, the transmission replaced or overhauled, the pump and gears have a habbit of leaking, it goes on and on, just go in to the dealership and ask "how many tsb's (technical service bulletins) there are on the grand cherokees, you will laugh and then walk away, in 1999 when the new grands came out there were more of those jeeps bought back by daimler chrysler than any other vehicles on the road!!!!!! trust me. go with a tahoe or ford.
P.S. the gas mileage is right at about 17 mpg on the grands.
